Design Brief: Cost effective whilst maintaining quality

After a couple of site meetings and with a concrete pool design all but complete, it was decided the better option was a one piece pool. The City + ticked all the boxes and was infact about 20% cheaper than the concrete option.

The other major benefit was speed. The pool could be delivered in a timely manner and the installation quick installation ment the customer would not be held up.

Adding a counter current can reduce the need for a larger pool by having a turbine or in this case, a jet of water that provides resistance to the swimmer meaning they can swim for miles without turning around.

Water Technics installed a below floor ductwork system that was complex due to the sub structure in effect splitting the pool room into two concrete boxes.
A Calorex Variheat III 600 was used for air handling, pool heating and dehumidification.
